Hi,

I need to upgrade new card for my Canon A570IS.Originally said that this one can support upto 4gb card with its Digic3 processor & compatable with SDHC too.Online rev says it can support upto 8gb.

Now I want to know-
1.Which SDHC card (4 OR 8gb)will be better?
2.Will class 2 OK(4 & 8 gb both)?

I was told that panasonic 4gb class4 card is good & available for Rs.850.
So pls.guide accordingly.

I'm thinking you should pick OCZ 4Gg/8Gg...they are rated in Class 6. Sandisk extremists they are cheaper than RAM and if their any indication, their SDHC cards should be pretty good.I like the convenience of bus travel for any one card for all your photos, and then to support them when necessary for your PC

I saw 8gb sandisk in bazaar which can be about 1k with accounting 2 on it.1st I anticipation its chic 2,but online data says its chic 4.This makes abashing as I charge top accommodation agenda for both photo & videos(70:30). With photo chic 2 no prob,but afraid about video recording.

I will suggest you to buy Sandisk SDHC card.If you want to buy 8GB than price of 8GB is $13(1k).Sandisk is best company in sd card.The speed of card data reading and coping maximum 30MBPS.Ans it is also very low price than other sd cards.This is the best SD card for camera.Thanks

I got finally sandisc 8gb class2 & its working very well with Canon570.I filled full 8 gb & still no issue.

But the slowest speed (read cheapest) card you can find. Faster cards are designed for cameras like the D3 monster, etc. that can shoot 10 fps. Buy a faster card for a P & S camera is just a waste of money.
