Hi my name is Abhijit and i am new in this forum and i am in confusion between these two cameras please help me to solve that

Having owned the D90 - I would definitely recommend it over the D5000. Although the D90 is an older model I would consider it as a BEST BUY at the current price.

The D90 is a SOLD and rugged camera with good heft. An excellent display - 3-inch, 920,000-dot color screen. Also the in-body focus motor and pentaprism is a great plus point in D90.

I would consider the D90 - as a photographers camera. The D5000 is a smaller and easier to hold camera compared to the D90.
