    Default Photos from Canon A85

    Hi folks,

Here is a sample of images taken 2 years ago in the Andamans using my Canon Powershot A85 4 MP digital camera.

All the images here were captured in fully manual mode and do not have post processing (except a couple of them receiving minor light adjustments in picasa).

A special thanks to Srikanth for suggesting picasa to me for the watermarking. I do not think anybody would steal my very humble pictures, just that it feels great to have my name on the picture.

    Here they go:

    Sunset at Chidiya Tapu

    Radhanagar Beach, Havelock

    Radhanagar Beach, Havelock

    Ross Island

    Regards

    Hi,

Asit Wow, Very nice pics ! and you say you don't know !!

One suggestion, try the picasa auto correction( Am feeling lucky button) on Radhanagar Beach,Ross Island as they have wee bit of more brightness then required !!

A special thanks to Srikanth for suggesting picasa to me for the watermarking. I do not think anybody would steal my very humble pictures, just that it feels great to have my name on the picture.
None required my friend as its hardly anything, I agree with you on the waternmark !!

The Idea is to have a tag which sort of represents your work than a real copy protection tool or theft proof !! there no way for one to do that in this digital age !

I myself use watermarking on all the images I post publically,So your concerns and actions need no justification !!

Keep em comin, can't wait to see more !!

    Regards.

Thanks. I shall take your suggestion and see if I can improve the two you suggested. Actually I am a bit surprised the way the Ross Island photo has come out through Picasa (may be I pressed something unknowingly). The photo is meant to be a bit darker and contrasty than that. I have a large printout of that picture and the printout looks absolutely okay.

I'll try that out tomorrow and will post whatever comes out.

The Greens with beach in the second pic is heavenly. Is it then true that certain cameras have their own trademark colours. Like they say that Canon cameras give a certain pop to colours.
