I am proud owner of Canon HDSLR camera, working as Cinematographer with 2 movies completed. There is no loss of quality while transferring to negative / positive film. 1920 - 2048 = 128 pixels doesn't pixelate. You get good quality of images than any of the sony / panosonic consumer grade cameras.
